Jimmy Cook
Commercial Consulting Arborist
ISA Certified Arborist #SO-10500A
B.S. Environmental Resource Management & Geography, Virginia Tech
I planted my first tree in my parent’s front yard when I was seven years old, and I have been rooted ever since. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Environmental Resource Management and Geography. I then spent the next several years guiding youth in the outdoors, discovering what people valued from their natural landscapes and how those could be places to build community.
Since then, I have spent over four years working with trees daily from pruning, planting, diagnosing, amending soil and treating for various pests and diseases. I earned my ISA certification in 2020 and my tree risk assessment certification shortly after. Outside of work, you can find me hiking, camping and paddling with my family and friends. I also enjoy gardening, cooking and experimenting with a fermentation project or two. I am excited to serve the commercial properties of the Twin Cities area. I look forward to working with you to create and maintain a healthy urban forest for generations to come.
