ISA Certified Arborist #MN-4540A

Experience
My first experience with trees began on my family’s hobby farm in Watertown, Minnesota, where my father taught me the importance of trees and their needs. In 2009 I was hired at Rainbow Treecare in the Plant Health Care division. Four years later I began climbing trees and operating a bucket truck in the pruning division. Throughout the years, I have had the pleasure of expanding my knowledge into all areas of tree care.

I receive great satisfaction in my daily visits with clients discussing their landscape.  My focus is on proper diagnoses and effective treatment options, as well as the development of long-term management plans that maximizes plant health while minimizing costs.

When I’m not in the field
I like to spend time with my wife and 2 kids who enjoy camping, hiking, and going up to the North Shore to unwind.  I still climb trees recreationally and enjoy my time in the saddle.

Tree Wisdom

  • One tree can absorb as much carbon in one year as a car produces while driving 26,000 miles.
  • Well-maintained trees and shrubs can increase property value by up to 14%.
  • A mature tree removes almost 70 times more pollution than a newly planted tree.

Favorite Quote

“To be poor and without trees, is to be the most starved human being in the world. To be poor and have trees, is to be completely rich in ways that money can never buy.”

~ Clarissa Pinkola Estes
