ISA Certified Arborist #MN-4640A
BS in Forest Resource Management, University of Minnesota
My interest in trees and tree care came from my parents. My mom was an avid gardener, and my dad was an early advocate of Integrated Plant Management through his career as an agronomist. They instilled in me lifelong learning about plants and working within natural processes to keep trees as healthy as possible. I learned to climb while I was in college, and took summer jobs as a city tree inspector and as a research assistant at the U of M.
Throughout my career, I’ve provided training and technical support for arborists and urban foresters, particularly regarding plant health care. I joined Rainbow in 2017 and developed extensive experience using Cambistat, our tree growth regulator, to improve the health of trees.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening with my wife, cycling, hiking, camping, and cooking for friends and family. I’m honored to be among the team of experts at Rainbow Treecare, and I’m glad to be part of giving your trees the best possible care.
