Why hire Rainbow Treecare?

It’s a good question.  We offer many of the same services as do our competitors, such as pruning and removal.  Occasionally our prices are higher for the same amount of work.  So what does Rainbow offer that other tree care services can’t?  Knowledge and expertise!

StaffEvery member of our sales staff has or is currently working on obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Urban Forestry or allied discipline.  They are trained by the finest minds at the best Universities in the United States, including the University of Minnesota.  When you have an arborist from Rainbow Treecare you know you have a professional with the best tree care training available.  Most companies have sales staff with selling ability but little or no background in tree care.  Our sales force is made up of Consulting Arborists who are trained in trees.

As their title suggests the Consulting Arborists at Rainbow Treecare are valued for their expert consultations.  They have access to the best informational resources in tree care as alumni of the University of Minnesota and other institutions as well as through the International Society of Arboriculture.  If you have a question about your trees they will find an answer for you and tell you how best to manage the situation.  The greatest part is that they also have access to the best educated and trained tree care production crews in the United States.  Our production staff is filled with Professional Arborists.

Our Professional Arborists are the crews that do the work.  They work on your trees at temperatures below zero in the winter and at temperatures above 90 degrees in the summer to make sure your trees are the healthiest in the Twin Cities.  Every professional arborist undergoes advanced training in pruning, tree identification, insect and disease management, soils and tree health, tree physiology, and customer service through courses taught by Dr. John Lloyd at Rainbow Treecare University.  In addition many of the professional arborists have received or are working towards Associates and Bachelors degrees in Arboriculture and Urban Forestry through cooperating universities and community colleges.  All of our Consulting Arborists and the vast majority of our Professional Arborists have also received Certification through the International Society of Arboriculture.  While not a college curriculum this certification program is the industry standard for having a basic knowledge of arboriculture. At Rainbow Treecare we see certification as a starting point, not an end accomplishment for our employees.

Anyone with a pick-up truck and a chainsaw can call themselves an arborist.  But what defines Rainbow as the industry leader is our commitment to sharing the knowledge of trees with our customers and increasing our own knowledge base to provide the finest health care for your trees.

If you are interested in utilizing our expertise, please contact our office manager, Ms. Kathy Walker, B.S., Urban Forestry, University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point ’00, via e-mail at kwalker@rainbowtreecare.com to schedule an appointment with one of our Consulting Arborists.

If you are interested in joining the Rainbow Treecare Team and are committed to learning the newest and providing the best tree care in the Twin Cities, please contact our Production Manager, Mr. Benjamin Cooper, B.S., Urban Forestry, University of Minnesota ’99, via e-mail at bcooper@rainbowtreecare.com.
