Vibratory Plow

Rainbow Treecare is very excited to announce to all of our partners in tree care that we have purchased a vibratory plow in our effort to offer more complete tree care.

Rainbow Treecare’s vibratory plow is designed to create a 3.5 to 5 foot deep trench with minimal impact on surrounding soils. The plow takes less than 1/3 the time that is required with a traditional trencher and has the ability to circumvent obstructions such as rocks due to the vibrations of the blade. The trenches are primarily used to sever tree roots to isolate trees infected with Oak Wilt and Dutch Elm Disease from their healthy counterparts or when regulations in construction zones require trees impacted by construction to be isolated from other trees to re-duce the potential for spread of harmful tree diseases. The plow is also utilized to sever other underground obstructions that can impact construction sites and cause post construction disturbances such as soil heave.
