Cane Growing Shrubs

Proper pruning is important for the shrubs in your landscape. Shrubs display their best characteristics when they are pruned regularly and correctly. The principles of shrub pruning vary depending on the form and growing habit of the particular shrub to be pruned. Shrubs can be divided into two categories: cane growers or tree-like growers. Cane growing shrubs continually regenerate from new shoots (canes) at the base of the plant.
