Rainbow Treecare is an industry leader in the development and management of proprietary research data. We are a knowledge-driven company. In serving our clients, we endeavor to apply only the latest knowledge and techniques in protecting valuable trees, shrubs, turf, and other landscape plantings.
Please feel free to review the latest internal study regarding of the efficacy of Arbotect macro-infused fungicide as a treatment process for protecting Twin Cities elm populations from Dutch Elm disease. The study period covers the years of 1999 - 2004. During that period, all trees studied were injected by Rainbow Treecare with Arbotect. The results of this study, when compared with the estimated loss rates of unprotected elms for various cities (estimated), within the metro area, during the study period, demonstrated significant protection advantage with the Arbotect treated trees.
The study was developed by Rainbow's Quality Assurance and Science Officer, Lori Mordaunt, and Shawn Bernick, a full-time researcher with Scientific Advancements - a sister company of Rainbow Treecare. Scientific Advancements distributes tree care chemistries and equipment to companies throughout the United States. A professional statistician was commissioned for the correct development. In that way, all data were generated with statistical accuracy.
This research work confirms our long-held belief that the Arbotect fungicidal injection system offers optimal protection for consumers from the impact of Dutch Elm disease. We have worked with other protection strategies for many years, and remain convinced of the advantages of using Arbotect across a vast range of circumstances. No other company in the United States protects as many trees from Dutch Elm disease as are protected by Rainbow Treecare. We take this leadership responsibility seriously.
