The International Society of Arborists (ISA) is a world wide organization that is dedicated to appreciation, education, research, technology, preservation and professional practice of trees. This credential requires an individual to have extensive experience, advanced education and knowledge of landscape plants in addition to being an ISA Certified Arborist of good standing. Once they have the required prerequisites they must study for and pass the in-depth examination.
