Steve Thompson has served with the Rainbow family of companies since 2002.  He is an ISA Certified Arborist and is currently working toward his ISA Board-Certified Master Arborist designation.  He earned his BA in English and Mathematics at the University of Detroit and later attained an MBA at Texas Tech. 

Following his discharge from the US Navy, Steve taught and coached for a high school and then went on to work in agribusiness for the next 25 years.  He ran production facilities in Texas and New Mexico for seven years, and managed sales and distribution at regional and national levels. 

Steve has worked with Rainbow Treecare on both the sales and client service sides.  He has also developed territories and special accounts for Rainbow Scientific Advancements, our national distribution company.  He is now concentrating his efforts on commercial accounts located in the Twin Cities.

Steve has owned and operated businesses of his own and has managed for others.  He understands the journey to the bottom line.  He loves working with trees and is uniquely qualified to develop solutions for people who have commercial tree care needs.
